We are looking for a Senior Sales Development Representative to join our team and lead top-of-funnel growth across the legal market. This senior-level role requires someone who can independently drive outbound and inbound sales development efforts, deeply understand legal buyer workflows, and consistently generate high-quality opportunities for our sales pipeline. The ideal candidate brings strong experience selling into legal professionals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate strategically in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and take on increasing ownership over revenue. Exceptional performance in this role can lead to a transition into an Account Executive position or Sales Leadership role, helping define how Deliberately.ai scales its go-to-market motion.
This role is critical to our go-to-market execution and will work closely with the CEO, sales leadership, and product team to shape how Deliberately.ai is positioned and adopted across the legal ecosystem.
Responsibilities
• Own and drive outbound and inbound sales development efforts targeting legal professionals, law firms, and legal organizations.
• Research, identify, and engage high-intent prospects through personalized outreach across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Qualify leads and schedule high-quality discovery meetings that convert into meaningful sales opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and sales leadership to refine messaging, ICPs, and go-to-market strategy.
• Develop a deep understanding of legal workflows, pain points, and decision-making processes to tailor outreach and positioning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM.
• Continuously test, measure, and improve outreach strategies, messaging, and conversion rates.
• Act as a key feedback loop to product and marketing teams, sharing insights from prospects and the market.
Required Expertise
• 5+ years of experience in Sales Development or Business Development, with a focus on legal, legal tech, or professional services sales.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline and meeting-generation targets.
• Strong understanding of legal industry buyers (e.g., attorneys, firm partners, legal ops, courts, or legal administrators).
• Experience selling SaaS products with complex value propositions and consultative sales cycles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior legal stakeholders.
• Highly self-directed, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort working with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.
• Ability to clearly articulate product value and business impact, not just features.
Nice to Have
• Experience selling legal technology, case management, document automation, or AI-powered tools.
• Familiarity with family law, immigration law, estate law, employment law, etc.
• Experience selling into SMB, mid-market or enterprise law firms, courts, or public sector legal organizations.
• Comfort working closely with founders in an early-stage or growth-stage SaaS company.
• Experience contributing to sales playbooks, outreach frameworks, or GTM strategy development.
