Deliberately.ai is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join the team; As an early technical leader on our team, you’ll have a front-row seat in defining our technology stack and engineering best practices.

We’re building a cutting-edge platform that leverages AWS (including ECS), AI/LLMs, and a modern frontend approach (using HTMX). As one of our first engineering hires, you’ll be working closely with our Infrastructure and AI teams to design, build, and maintain the core services that power our product—ranging from database interaction(Postgres, Neo4j) to messaging (RabbitMQ), and AI integration. We operate in a mostly remote environment for now.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of our web frontend using HTMX, JS and other modern web technologies.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define and implement interactive UI flows.

• Ensure the frontend is accessible, responsive, and optimized for performance.

• Maintain a clean, component-driven codebase while integrating HTML, CSS, and server-driven elements.

• Work with design and product teams to iterate on features and user experiences quickly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in frontend engineering (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Proven experience or strong interest in HTMX (or similarly minimal-JS frameworks).

• Comfortable connecting server-rendered templates with client-side interactivity.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic backend integration concepts.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting and communicate technical decisions clearly.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with any server-side framework (e.g., Django, Flask, Node.js) that pairs well with HTMX.

• Knowledge of WebSockets or SSE for real-time updates.

• Experience with design systems or UI component libraries.
